Let’s write a song!

I’d like to make this page a little more interactive.
I’ve come to the conclusion that because this page is about music, we should all collaborate in the production of a song.
I require people to comment some lyrics (preferably four lines per person) and I shall arrange them into a chorus and several verses.
The lyrics can be whatever you want, provided the content is appropriate and meets general standards of maturity.

Anyway, please comment ASAP. I’ll post the song when it’s complete and I have enough material.

Tale of Revenge-Ensiferum

Some lyrics of a favorite song of mine, Tale of Revenge by Ensiferum (Ensiferum translates to “sword bearer” in Finnish)
I’m really fond of the lyrical content of this song, because it releases and resets my anger for modern pop music. It’s good to unwind with some metal sometimes, after a long day.
Anyway, let me know what you think.

He bears a tale so gloom and tragic never to be known
Into darkness now fallen, into hatred now grown
Like a stillborn child drifting in the silent seas
Of blood, crushing all his dreams

No castle walls can hold the fury in his eyes
Devotion for death now controls his life
No gold or silver can bring him consolation
Only one thing is left inside him, the desire of revenge

One light so cold and pale, sleeping quietly all alone
One life so old and gray, wandering away from home

Parted with a horrid cry, snow falls on his grief
United by the sword of wicked screams
What deeds he has done to hear those dreadful sounds?
In the ruins of memories he wanders, forever bound

Forever bound to death

Wait for me in the mountains, haunt for me in the winds
Wait for me in the land where nothing lives
Until the day I have found revenge, I will feed my sword
Until my heart is cold, every breath of mine is yours

Wait for me in the mountains, haunt for me in the winds

Wait for me in the land where nothing lives
Until the day I have found revenge, I will feed my sword
Until my heart is cold, every breath of mine is yours
Every breath of min is yours

Sorry, what?

So today i’d like to compare and justify a few things. We’re, yes we’re, going to look at two different songs. One will be of my least favorite topic, pop, and the other will be folk-metal. The lyrics will follow this brief message, and I hope you can drop in some opinions.
Just observe the different styles of lyrics between genres that are almost completely opposite. (The super repetition and then something different in Justin Bieber’s piece. Most of the lyrics are the same, and the video is…….) I wish I could give the videos for these, but I cannot. Please remember to comment your opinions.

Justin Bieber-Beauty and a Beat
Yeah, Young Money, Nicki Minaj, Justin

Show you off, tonight I wanna show you off (yea yea yea)
What you got, a billion coulda never bought (yea yea yea)
We gonna party like it’s 3012 tonight
I wanna show you all the finest things in life
So just forget about the world we’re young tonight
I’m coming for ya, I’m coming for ya

Cause all I need
Is a beauty and a beat
Who can make my life complete
It’s all bout you,
When the music makes you move
Baby do it like you do
Cause…uh

[Beat break]

Body rock, girl, I can feel your body rock (eh eh eh)
Take a bow, you’re on the hottest ticket now (eh eh eh)

We gonna party like it’s 3012 tonight
I wanna show you all the finest things in life
So just forget about the world we’re young tonight
I’m coming for ya, I’m coming for ya

Cause….uh all I need
Is a beauty and a beat
Who can make my life complete
It’s all bout you,
When the music makes you move
Baby do it like you do

Buns out, winner, but I gotta keep an eye out for Selena
Beauty, beauty and the beat
Beauty from the east, beautiful confessions of the priest
Beast, beauty from the streets, we don’t get deceased
Every time a beauty on the beats …beats
(Yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah, let’s go, let’s go)

Heart beat.Yeah I wanna feel this heart beat (eh eh eh) Cause all I need Is a beauty and a beat

Who can make my life complete
It’s all bout you, (all I need is you)
When the music makes you move
Baby do it like you do
Cause…uh

Eluveitie-Calling the Rain

A nexus fruition, whirling cognition
Ulterior, the failing of words

A pageant to leave me bewildered
Lurch at the sight of the clandestine ascendancy
Pervading anima
An awe-struck principle, an adytum to find our home

Long for the rapture again
Crave for the pristine light

Vastness engulfing the soul
Unfurling this truth, an orbit in sovereignty
Sown into deep darkness
The grain has to die, perish to bestow new life

A vis major painting a rapturous view
Heralding a vivid thema

Heed, it’s like calling the rain
It’s like bearing in pain
Like embracing life an decaying in death
Heed, it’s like calling the rain

It’s like the caress of a mother
Like life to go withered, a perennial pneuma
I will not forget what I arose from

Decidual the forests proclaim
The glory primal, the rapturous supremacy
Vanquishing the vile
Burgeoning beyond, bearing the essence of life

Crave for the rapture again
Long for the pristine light

The Bagpipe

As you may know, the Bagpipe is a wind instrument that consists of a large bag that is inflated with air and one or more mouthpieces.
The bag is inflated either by the player’s own breath or by using bellows. The player squeezes the bag to let out air, and the chanter to determine the notes that come out, while keeping the reservoir bag full of air. This usually requires the player to be able to circular breathe (a motion in which the player breathes out through the mouth and in through the nose at the same time).

The Bagpipe takes a lot of practice to be able to play well, and takes several years of practice on a chanter to even get a steady note.
The earliest records of existing Bagpipes dates back to around 1000 BC in the Middle East.
The most commonly played Bagpipes are from Scotland, Ireland, and North Africa.

What do you think?

So today i’ll talk about some ‘different’ instruments.
Have you ever heard of a Hurdy Gurdy? No? I thought so. It’s a wood-wind/string instrument, and is worked with a crank, and a wheel that vibrates strings much like a violin.
This instrument has a completely unique sound and is super ancient. It has been around for a few thousand years, and is of ancient European origin, made in, well, Europe.
It is fairly expensive and works in a way like no other instrument, being possibly one of the most complex instruments on earth.
It has a super ‘strange’ sound, but is still really nice to listen to, especially when accompanied by a bagpipe.
This ‘Hurdy Gurdy’ is worth about $1,300 AT THE VERY LEAST, and is used in a large amount of folk, folk metal and classical music.
